Our mission is to greatly reduce the number of unwanted or abandoned cats and dogs in our community by finding new forever homes for adoptable and rehabilitated animals. TAAS accomplishes this goal by targeting heavily populated cat areas and concentrating our spay, neuter and educational efforts in these areas.
We assist caretakers caring for feral colonies with spaying or neutering to maintain or reduce colony size.
TAAS is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to animal rescue, foster and adoption, community education about the importance of spaying/neutering and to increase involvement from citizens and elected officials in efforts to care for the animals.
Help Us Help Them...Together, great things are possible!
We are in desperate need of caned cat food and cat litter. Please contact us at 336.498.6013 or make a donation online if you can help.
As of February 7, 2006, the city of Randleman has generously allowed The Animal Awareness Society Inc. the use of a city building! We will use it for storing supplies and showing the animals that are available for adoption to prospective new owners.
