The first is Thursday July2nd (this is a same say pick up). The second spay and neuter transport will be on Wednesday July 15th. If you need to have your animals spayed/neutered please call our office to reserve your space. Call early we have limited spots and they fill up fast.

Adoption Fair
Looking for that special pet? Visit us at the Greensboro PETCO at 4217 West Wendover Ave. each Saturday from 11-4 to meet the animals currently available for adoption. You'll also be able to speak to our volunteers and begin the adoption process when you find your new animal friend.
SPAY/NEUTER TRANSPORT
Are providing to the community a transport
service, for you to have your cats and dogs either spayed or neutered.
The transport will leave from The Animal
Awareness Society’s office, located at 102 Hilliary St. in Randleman (behind the
Randleman Police Dept. and across from the Richard Petty Museum) every
3rd third Wednesday of the month. The transport will pick
up at 7:30 am and return the
following day at 10:30 am. Together,
The Animal Awareness Society and The West Wendover Spay and Neuter
Clinic hope to reduce the number of unwanted animals in our community by
offering this service to anyone needing to get their animals altered. For more

Belk Charity Day
Thank you Randolph County, for all of the support from your donations. We raised over $ 225.00 dollars from April 30th to May 2nd. This will help with food and medication for our animals. Once again, Thank you for your support from all of us and the animals of TAAS!
Yard Sale
Thank you Randolph County, for all of the support from your donations. We raised over $ 800.00 dollars from our April 25th sale. A special thanks to Buckey Jernagan, the owner of Charlie's Package Store. He allowed us to use his parking lot to hold our sale that and and made the donation of ice and allowed us to use his dumpster for clean up. This will help with food and medication for our animals. Once again, Thank you for your support from all of us and the animals of TAAS!

Rabies Clinic
March 21st
Thanks to Thanks to George Rider for allowing us to us his business Riders in the Country to host our 1st rabies clinic of 2009. Also a big thanks to Dr. Kim Sheets for her help with supplying the vaccinations for the clinic. We also had the JR. ROTC Club from Randleman H.S. assisting with our event. We were able to vaccinate over 200 dogs and cats and raise over $ 1000. Thank you for all your support.

Asheboro, Fall Festival

11th Annual Dog Fest 2008
We would like to thank everyone that attended Dog Fest, and helped it be the great success that it was. We had a great day the weather was in our favor and with the help of wonderful dog owners we were able to raise funds that will help with our work with the animals.

Spay and Neuter Transport
This month we once again sent over 30 cats and dogs from the community to be spayed &/or neutered. Thank you to all that participated.Rabies Clinic
Location : Riders in the Country September 6th
Thank you to Dr. Kim Sheets and George Rider, and the staff of Riders in the Country, with our them we could not have had a successful event. With bad weather hanging over our heads George opened his heart and building for the animals, and we had a great day. 172 animals received there rabies shots. With the great help of Dr. Sheets donating her time and efforts, and the Junior R.O.T.C of Randleman H.S the event went off with out a hitch. We also want to thank the many volunteers that gave up there Saturdays to help and the Randleman Police Department for there donations to assist with traffic control. We not only had the Rabies, we also did a dog wash, nail trimming and offered the services of Hydro-Groom Mobil Pet Wash of Greensboro, thanks to Sandi. We look forward to doing another clinic in the spring and once again thank the public for there many donations.

YARD SALE TO BENEFIT THE ANIMALS
The volunteers and animals of TAAS wish to thank everyone that came out to help raise funds at our spring yard sale.
We also thank Dr. Kim Sheets for donating her time to help the cats and dogs get there rabies shots. Thank you to all of the pet owners that came to our clinic to have there animals updated rabies, and those that had there animals micro chipped.

SPAY DAY EVENT FOR 2008
This years spay day event to celebrate National Spay and Neuter Month was a great success. We want to thank everyone that came out to help the animals. On Saturday February 23rd we had a Bake sale at Pet-Co in both Kernersville and Greensboro. National Spay/Neuter Day was February 26th. Always remember to have all your animals spayed or neutered.
