How You Can Help
The Animal Awareness Society needs your help, and there are many ways you can help us help the animals, including volunteering, fostering, and donating.
Volunteer
Are you interested in helping your community and the animals by volunteering? Here is your opportunity to help!

We are in need of volunteers to help with:
  • speaking at schools on the importance of spaying/neutering
  • adoption fairs at Petco on Saturday
  • cleaning the habitat at Petco during the week
  • fundraising events, such as rabies clinics and dog washes
  • distributing flyers for fundraising events
  • trapping and releasing ferals in our T-N-R program
  • completing paperwork for our spay/neuter transports
  • foster care
We are also currently in need of a volunteer who can come in several days a week to check messages, return phone calls, and assist with paperwork.

Foster
We are in need of loving homes to help care for cats and dogs while they wait for their forever homes. If you would like to help provide this for one of our many rescued animals, please contact our office to set up an interview and a home visit.

Donate
We rely solely upon your donations of money and supplies, and they go directly toward helping the animals. The Animal Awareness Society (TAAS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All donations are tax-deductible.
