Welcome to Our Website The Animal Awareness Society (TAAS) is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Randleman, NC. Our mission is to humanely reduce the number of unwanted cats and dogs in our community by spaying and neutering and finding forever homes for adoptable and rehabilitated animals. TAAS accomplishes this goal by offering a bi-monthly, low-cost spay & neuter transport. TAAS is dedicated to finding forever homes for the animals that are currently in our care, community education about the importance of spaying/neutering and increasing involvement from citizens in efforts to decrease animal over-population.
